Delegated Function Oversight

Delegated Function Oversight for UCITS and AIFs

Risk-based Luxembourg ManCo and AIFM oversight of delegates, service providers and fund counterparties throughout the fund lifecycle.

Service overview

Structured oversight from onboarding to transition

FundSight provides a documented framework to select, monitor, challenge and, where required, replace delegates and material service providers throughout the lifecycle of UCITS and AIF structures.

Our oversight framework supports Boards, fund initiators and asset managers by evidencing that delegated activities remain aligned with Luxembourg and European regulatory requirements, fund documentation, contractual obligations, internal policies and investor-protection principles.

The approach is proportionate and risk-based. The intensity of oversight is calibrated to the materiality of the delegated function, the complexity of the operating model, the risk profile of the fund and the quality of the delegate’s governance and control framework.

Oversight combines initial due diligence, ongoing monitoring, thematic reviews, incident assessment, remediation tracking, escalation and formal reporting to relevant governance bodies.
